Maryland Man Wins Lottery for the Second Time

William Daniels Jr., a 31-year-old man from Middle River, Maryland, recently won $50,000 on a Maryland Lottery Gold X50 scratch-off.

This is not his first time winning big, as he had previously won $100,000 on a Baltimore Ravens-themed scratch-off in November 2015.

Daniels, who works in aircraft assembly, says that winning the lottery still feels surreal.

He credits his good luck to his hairstyle, as he had long hair when he won his first big prize in 2015, cut it short, and recently started wearing it long again.

He jokingly added that he's "going to stick with long hair when I play scratch-offs."

Daniels used his first winnings to purchase a home and now plans to use his latest winnings to pay for his upcoming wedding.
