Father of Four from Darlington County grabs a big jackpot recently

A lucky father of four from Darlington County is celebrating a big win after scratching off a winning $100,000 lottery ticket.

The excited winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from the Quality Grocery on Highway 52 in Darlington.

"I was in shock when I realized I had won," the winner said. "I just kept staring at the ticket, not believing my luck!"

The winner plans to use the windfall to pay off some bills, take a family vacation, and invest for his children's college education.

He thanked the store for selling him the winning ticket, saying, "I'm so grateful to Quality Grocery for providing me with this amazing opportunity."

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money, lottery officials said.
