Virginia man wins Powerball twice with two winning tickets in the same drawing

In a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a Virginia man named Benjamin Baker has achieved the unlikely feat of winning hundreds of thousands of dollars in the Powerball twice, using two winning tickets purchased at the same grocery store in a single drawing.

According to a press release from the Virginia Lottery, Baker purchased a total of 10 tickets for the March 4 Powerball drawing at a local Food Lion store in Covington, Virginia.

Surprisingly, he managed to match four of the winning numbers plus the Powerball number on two of his purchased tickets, which normally would have been a $50,000 prize for each winning ticket.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 10-16-18-40-66, with the Powerball number being 16.

This incredible achievement has made history, with Baker becoming the first person to have won two significant prizes in the same drawing.
