Regina Couple Wins $100,000 by Adding EXTRA to Their 6/49 Draw Ticket

Regina couple plans Hawaii trip after $100,000 lotto win

A couple from Regina, Amanda Fluter and Michael Larwood, have won $100,000 in the March 4 draw of 6/49 by adding EXTRA to their ticket purchased from the Mobil at 3958 Albert Street in south Regina.

The couple matched the last six digits of the winning EXTRA number - 5616527.

Larwood discovered the win during his lunch break and sent Fluter a text, to which she responded with disbelief. However, after Larwood sent a photo of the winning ticket, they both were excited and surprised about the news.

The couple plans to use the money to go on a trip to Hawaii next winter since they have not been able to travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fluter and Larwood expressed their gratitude and happiness for the unexpected win, and they thanked Sask Lotteries for making it possible.
