Fortunate family from Wamberal wins a big jackpot and celebrated winning

A family of four from Wamberal celebrated their win of a $1 million lottery prize recently.

The family, who chose to remain anonymous, said they were shocked when they discovered they had won the first division prize in the Monday and Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.

The winner said the prize money would help them to pay off all their debts, including the mortgage.

“We are so relieved. This is a life-changing amount of money for us,” they said. The family said they were looking forward to taking a well-deserved holiday and were planning to buy a new car.

“We’re still getting used to the idea of being millionaires,” they added. The winning ticket was purchased from Wamberal Newsagency.

Lottery officials said they were delighted to have made another millionaire.
