Lucky San Antonio guy scoops $1 million recently in a lottery game

A San Antonio woman is celebrating after winning a $1 million lottery prize. Gloria Romero, a 51-year-old retired school teacher, matched all five numbers in the Texas Lottery's $1 Million Jackpot drawing on June 15.

Romero said she was in shock when she realized she had won the million-dollar prize.

She had to ask her daughter to check the numbers again to make sure they were correct. "This is a dream come true," said Romero.

"This money will allow me to take care of some financial needs, do some traveling and help out my family."

Romero plans to use her winnings to pay off bills and to give back to her family. She also plans to save most of the prize for retirement.

"I'm so thankful for this blessing," said Romero. "It's a dream come true!"
