Lottery officials have announced that two Powerball tickets worth $50,000 each were sold in New York, with one of the winning tickets purchased at the Kishor Parekh newsstand on Broadway between 38th and 39th streets in Manhattan.

The other winning ticket was sold at Smokes For Less in Newburgh in Orange County.

Both tickets matched four numbers and the Powerball, with the winning numbers for Saturday's drawing being 11, 20, 33, 43, and 58.

The Powerball number was 24. The Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m., giving players multiple chances to win big.

Powerball is a multi-state lottery game that is played in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
