Florida man wins $1M from $20 scratch-off game

In his latest stroke of luck, Lazaro Aviles has won a $1 million prize from the Monopoly Doubler scratch-off game.

The 56-year-old resident of Deland, Florida, claimed his winnings at the Florida Lottery's Orlando District Office and chose to receive a lump-sum payment of $798,895.

The $20 game offers players a chance to win more than $493 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $5 million.

With odds of winning at 1-in-3.02, it's no surprise that the game is a popular choice among lottery enthusiasts. The Rite Track, where Aviles purchased his winning ticket, will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.
