Two New Jersey Stores Sell Winning Lottery Tickets Worth $40,000

Mega Millions Lottery Wins In West Orange, East Orange

Two stores, one in East Orange and one in West Orange, sold winning lottery tickets worth a combined $40,000 for the Mega Millions drawing held on March 17th.

The tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, winning third-tier prizes of $10,000.

One of the tickets had the Megaplier option, increasing the prize to $30,000. The New Jersey Lottery announced that the winning tickets were sold at Jerusalem Market in East Orange and ShopRite Essex Green Shopping Center in West Orange.

Mega Millions is a popular multi-state lottery game played across 45 states in the United States, as well as the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands.

Players choose five numbers from 1-70 and one Mega Ball number from 1-25. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays, with jackpots starting at $20 million and often reaching hundreds of millions of dollars.
