Fan wins big prize from Luke Combs-themed lottery ticket. ‘I love him even more now’

A woman's love for country singer Luke Combs took an extraordinary turn when she purchased a South Carolina lottery ticket featuring his name and won a remarkable $200,000. The fortunate winner decided to try her luck with the Living Lucky with Luke Combs scratch-off game during a visit to R K Store, a Citgo station in Chesnee, located approximately 45 miles northeast of Greenville. This game, offered by the S.C. Education Lottery, proved to be the key to her life-changing win, as announced in a news release on May 25.

Amidst her disbelief, the woman shared her astonishment upon realizing that one of the $5 scratch-off tickets she had purchased held the game's top prize.

The odds of winning were 1 in 750,000, making her victory even more remarkable. While the winner chose to remain anonymous, she expressed her growing admiration for Luke Combs, stating, "I love him even more now."

The woman's sister played a significant role in her win, as she initially won $15 on a $5 Luke Combs ticket, which prompted her sister to give it a try. Having not played the lottery for years, the $200,000 winner seized the opportunity and luck was on her side. After paying taxes, she kept $139,000, which provides her with additional funds for retirement, as confirmed by lottery spokesperson Holli Armstrong.
