A winning Massachusetts lottery ticket is sold out from Jamaican store

Lucky Massachusetts state lottery player bought his winning ticket from a store in Jamaica

There were two $100,000 scratch tickets won or claimed in the Bay State on May 2, and one was purchased from a smoke shop, the Massachusetts State Lottery said.

The smoke shop is located in Jamaica Plain and called Smoke Shop Variety. The store sold a winning $100,000 lottery scratch ticket from the game “$15,000,000 Money Maker,” and its winner claimed the prize on Tuesday.

The $100,000 winning “$15,000,000 Money Maker” ticket was one of 14 total tickets worth $600 or more claimed from the game on Tuesday.

The other $100,000 prize was won on Tuesday from the “Mass Cash” drawing. It was sold from a convenience store in Fitchburg called Honey Land.

“Mass Cash” drawings occurs daily at 9 p.m. Tickets to play are $1. A player must choose five numbers between 1 and 35, and there are three available prizes to win.
