Lucky Stow woman won scratch-off lottery prize worth $150K

A woman from Stow has won big money after hitting a prize worth $150,000 on a scratch-off ticket in the Ohio Lottery’s Lady Luck 50X game.

The Ohio Lottery says the woman bought the lucky ticket from a self-serve kiosk at Marc’s #36 at 3732 Darrow Road in Stow after stopping by the store to buy some rice.

“The winner said she almost passed out when she kept scratching off winning numbers,” according to the Ohio Lottery.

“She is sharing the winnings with her family.” After state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the Ohio lottery says the winner will receive $108,000.

Her name was not released.

Lady Luck 50X is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000. The Ohio Lottery says the odds of winning a prize in the Lady Luck 50X game are at 1 in 3.66.
