Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $100K sold in North Haven

A winning lottery ticket worth $100,000 was recently sold in North Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery. According to Lottery officials, a North Haven resident won $100,000 on a CASH5 ticket sold at North Haven Mobil at 384 State St.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters.

The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
