Hunt is on for winner of $1 million scratch lottery prize

One lucky person in Danville purchased a lottery scratch-off ticket and became a millionaire this week.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced the winner on Thursday.

The identity of the winner was not released by the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The Pennsylvania Lottery awarded Puff Tobacco Products, 1021 Mill St., Danville, a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning $1,000,000 Game Scratch-Off ticket in Montour County.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or seeing mail to start the claiming process.
