Fortunate Stamford woman wins a big jackpot from a mini mart

A Stamford woman has won a $250,000 lottery prize from a ticket purchased at Hope Street Mini Mart.

The woman, who is remaining anonymous, purchased a $10 “30X Cash” ticket at the mini mart and matched all five numbers.

She initially thought she had won $50,000, but was surprised to learn the amount was actually $250,000. “I still can’t believe it. I’m so grateful to have won this prize,” said the winner.

The Hope Street Mini Mart was also a winner, as the store will receive $2,500 for selling the winning ticket.

“We’re thrilled for our customer,” said the store manager. “We’re always happy when someone wins a big prize, and this one is especially exciting.”

The winner plans to use her winnings to pay off some debt and invest the rest. “I’m still in shock, but I’m so happy and grateful,” she said. “This will make a huge difference in my life.”
