In the latest Powerball drawing, a New York City resident won $1 million with a second-prize ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Flatbush Gas, Inc. on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn for Saturday's drawing, and had five matching numbers.

The winning numbers for the drawing were white balls 14, 20, 30, 54, and 69, with a red Powerball of 11.

The New York Lottery urges players to buy tickets early to avoid last-minute lines, as the deadline for purchasing a ticket is 9:45 p.m. on draw nights. The jackpot for the drawing to be held Wednesday night is an estimated $526 million, and players can check their tickets securely on the New York Lottery app.
