Aurora man $100K richer after big lottery win

An Aurora resident said he had to do a quadruple and quintuple check to make sure what his phone was telling him was in fact the truth.

This was after Adam Stesco, 37, matched the last of seven numbers in the Lotto Max draw on Oct. 14.

It means he's now $100,000 richer.

He bought his ticket at the Wellington Mini Mart in Aurora. "When I checked my ticket on the OLG App, I saw 'Congratulations – Big Winner,'" he said while collecting his prize.

"I never saw that before, so I restarted my phone to check again. After the fourth or fifth time scanning it, I realized I actually did win $100,000."

The first thing he did was call his family.

Next, he said he plans to pay off his bills, head to Europe, and make some serious investments.
