Someone in Stamford won Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000, the winner will soon be $50,000 times richer than before. 

The winning lottery ticket was purchased at the ticket at Track News & Variety, which is located at the Stamford Train Station.

Winning lottery ticket has not been claimed yet, more information will be released once the lottery ticket is claimed. 

The winner has 180 days from the day of draw to claim there lottery prize, afterwards the lottery ticket will expire and won't be claimed.

The store will also receive a bonus of $500 for selling the winning lottery ticket.
