A lucky scratch off lottery player from Kenedy wins $1 million recently

A scratch-off ticket game has turned yet another Texan into a millionaire. A Kenedy resident claimed their $1 million winning prize from the Texas Lottery game on Monday, January 8, according to a news release.
The winning game was sold just a little over an hour away from San Antonio at Jimbos Food Mart, located at 809 W. Main St., Kenedy, 78119.
This was the 5th out of 10 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the $378.2 winnings offered in the Million Dollar Loteria scratch ticket game, according to the release.
Although the winner did opt to remain anonymous, the Texas Lottery shared what odds they beat to become a millionaire.
Officials said the odds of winning the scratch-off game are one in 3.29, including break-even prizes.
