Fortunate Glenelg guy scoops $10 million in powerball lottery game

A Glenelg resident or visitor has scored a life-changing $10 million in last night’s Powerball draw but may be unaware they become a newly-minted millionaire overnight.

The mystery South Australian ticketholder held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1401, drawn Thursday 23 March 2023, and took home $10,626,529.

The winning entry was not registered to a player card, which means officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the winner of their life-changing win and must wait for them to check their ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kylie Brown’s Newsagency, Shop 17, Bayside Shopping Village, Cnr Jetty and Brighton Road, Glenelg.

Kylie Brown’s Newsagency owner Kylie Brown said she couldn’t be happier to have sold her first division one winning entry in Powerball.
