Million Dollar Powerball Ticket Sold In Brooklyn

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Brooklyn over the weekend.

The winning ticket was sold at the Lil Larry’s Liquor & Wine on Lorraine Street. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

As of Monday afternoon, the ticket was still left unclaimed.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Powerball's annuity is paid in 30 graduated installments over 29 years, or winners may choose a lump sum payment instead (cash option).
