Uxbridge Man Wins Ontario's Jackpot with $456,680.90 Prize

An Uxbridge man has won "Ontario's jackpot," according to the OLG. Michele (Mike) Scetto, 58, won $456,680.90 in the Aug. 26, 2023, Lottario draw.
He also won $16 on another one of his Lottario selections, bringing his total winnings to $456,696.90. Scetto has been playing the lottery for 20 years and said he doesn't like to play the same games and often switches it up.
"Lottario has been one of my main games," he said while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up his winnings.
When discovering his win, Scetto checked his ticket at the store and was very excited.
"I almost had a heart attack," he joked. Scetto hasn't told anyone except for his mother, sister and nephews about his win.
He plans to pay off some bills with his winnings
