3 MA Powerball Tickets Unclaimed, Expire Soon

The Massachusetts State Lottery has announced that three Powerball tickets, each worth $50,000, are set to expire soon.

All three tickets matched four out of five winning numbers as well as the Powerball, and were drawn on April 2, April 16, and April 30, 2022. The winning tickets were sold at M & M Market in Worcester, Honey Farms in Rutland, and Cumberland Farms in North Attleborough, respectively. Winners have one year to claim their prizes, but time is running out.

The Lottery is urging residents to check their drawers and pockets for any unclaimed tickets, as the last claimed lottery prize near the expiration date was found inside a drawer after the winner forgot he bought the ticket nearly one year ago.

Prizes that expire become part of the net profit that the Massachusetts Lottery returns to the state and is distributed across every city and town.
