A lucky Toledo resident wins a million jackpot in scratch off lottery game

A Toledo local has struck luck with a $500,000 win from the Ohio Lottery’s Mega Multiplier scratch-off game.
The fortunate ticket was purchased at Prompt Stop, located at 9066 Dorr Street. After mandatory state and federal taxes, which account for 28% of the total prize, the winner is set to take home approximately $360,000.
Mega Multiplier, a $10 scratch-off game, still offers the opportunity for other players to win big, with two top prizes of $500,000 yet to be claimed, among other significant prizes available as of June 20.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
