Newark store owner sold out a big jackpot worth of $595,000 recently

A store in Newark sold a lottery ticket worth a cool $595,153 for the Thursday, March 16 drawing of the Jersey Cash 5, officials said.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, the ticket matched all five numbers drawn, winning a $595,153 jackpot. The winning numbers were: 02, 18, 23, 25 and 37 and the XTRA number was: 03.

The winning ticket was sold at A1 Mini Market 2 on Mt. Prospect Avenue in Newark. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000.

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money.
