Winning $100,000 Massachusetts state lottery ticket is sold out in Clinton

Lucky Massachusetts state lottery player wins $100,000 recently in Clinton

A $100,000 scratch ticket was claimed on Wednesday in Central Massachusetts, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

The winning ticket, a “$15,000,000 Money Maker” scratch ticket, was purchased from Papacalos Variety store in Clinton.

It was one of 23 total tickets from that game worth $600 or more claimed on Wednesday, Jan. 26. Overall, there were 523 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 sold or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including 15 in Springfield and 21 in Worcester.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

The largest lottery prize won in the state of Massachusetts so far in 2023 was a $31 million Mega Millions prize. The $31 million ticket was sold for the Tuesday, Jan. 24 drawing and was purchased from a Stop & Shop in Belchertown.

The prize was also the sixth-largest lottery prize ever won in the history of lottery in the state.
