The winning ticket is worth $50K and is sold in Fresh Meadows

The New York Lottery has announced that one third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Powerball drawing on August 2.

The winning ticket, worth $50,000, was sold at Food Universe, located at 196-35 Horace Harding Expressway in Fresh Meadows.

The Powerball game involves drawing winning numbers from a field of one to 69, and the red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
