One lucky lottery player won $1 million prize playing Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Lucky Bucks” game.
The winning ticket was sold at Hancock Tobacco in Quincy on Friday. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.
The winner recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and took home $650,000 after state and federal taxes.
As with most U.S. lotteries, the Bay State's lottery games require players to be at least 18 years old.
Drawings are broadcast on WBZ-TV (channel 4) the CBS-station in the Boston television market.
The odds of winning $1 million in “$10,000,000 Lucky Bucks,” the second-highest award in the lottery game, are one in 1.512 million.
