Bay County Man Wins $300,000 Michigan Lottery Prize on Bingo Blockbuster Instant Game

A lucky Bay County man recently won a $300,000 prize on the Michigan Lottery's Blockbuster instant game, according to a news release from the Michigan Lottery.

The anonymous 46-year-old player decided to take a chance on the Bingo Blockbuster game, despite not typically playing bingo games.

The winning ticket was purchased at Southside Market at 1700 Cass Avenue in Bay City.

“I hardly ever play the Bingo games, but there was one Bingo Blockbuster ticket left on the roll, so I decided to purchase it,” said the player.

After scratching the barcode, he scanned it right away and received a message to file a claim.

He scanned the barcode a few more times to make sure he had read the message correctly.
