Another fortunate Wayne County guy wins $2.5 million recently

A grocery store in Honesdale recently sold a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth $2.5 million.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, a jackpot-winning Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket sold during the Saturday, May 4 drawing matched all six winning numbers, 2-22-24-36-38-39.

The Weis Markets at 1199 Texas Palmyra Highway in Honesdale will earn a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner told the lottery officials that he will be going to pay all his due bills and after that he will be going to buy a brand new car for his own. 

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money, lottery officials said.
