A Newyork County guy wins $81,000 recently in a lottery game

A New York LOTTO second-prize winning ticket worth more than $81,000 was recently sold in New York City, according to lottery officials.

The New York Lottery announced one winning second prize ticket for the LOTTO game, worth $81,844, was sold for the Saturday, May 4, drawing.

The ticket, which matched five numbers and the bonus number, was sold at Maita Deli Grocery Corp, located at 1571 Saint Johns Place in Brooklyn.

The winning numbers for the drawing are 35, 45, 46, 50, 52, 56 and Bonus Number 3. 

To win the New York LOTTO jackpot, players must match six numbers drawn from a field of one to 59. Drawings are televised every Wednesday and Saturday at approximately 8:15 p.m.

A New York LOTTO prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
