A lucky Canyon guy wins a big jackpot recently in Texas lottery game

A Canyon resident claimed a top prize winning ticket worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game $1,000,000 Winnings.

The ticket was purchased at the Allsups located at 906 8th Street in Canyon.

The winner elected to remain anonymous. This was the second of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. The scratch off tickets cost $20.

According to the Texas Lottery, the odds of winning one of the four million dollar prizes are 1 in 2,250,000.

Other prize amounts are $20, $30, $50, $100, $200, $500, $2,000, $20,000, and $100,000.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
