Woman from Metro Detroit wins $1million in Mega Millions prize, she was so amazed when she came to know she has won such a huge lottery. 

Nikki Lawson who is a 39-year-old from Harper Woods was shocked to see a $1 million prize pending on her Michigan Lottery account. 

“I decided to buy a Mega Millions ticket because the jackpot was so high,” said Lawson. “The next day I saw an email from the Lottery notifying me that I’d won a prize.

When a pop-up came up showing $1 million, all I could think was: ‘That is way too many zeros to be $1,000!’ I started freaking out when I realized how much I’d won.”

She plans on purchasing a home and then saving the remainder.
