Michigan woman hits $1 million lottery jackpot, she is now $1 million times richer than before, she was so happy to see so huge lottery.
Nikki Lawson who is 39 years old , of Harper Woods matched five white balls — 13-36-45-57-67 — in the July 29 drawing.
“I decided to buy a Mega Millions ticket because the jackpot was so high,” said Lawson in a Michigan Lottery press release.
“The next day I saw an email from the Lottery notifying me that I’d won a prize. I logged in to my Lottery account to see what I’d won, assuming it was a $1,000 prize or a prize around that amount.
‘That is way too many zeros to be $1,000!’ I started freaking out when I realized how much I’d won.”
She said she plans to purchase a home and save the remainder of her winnings.
