A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a grocery store on Long Island, New York Lottery officials said. The third prize-winning ticket was purchased in Lindenhurst at the King Kullen store located at 600 North Wellwood Avenue.

It was sold for the drawing held on Monday, April 15.

Monday’s winning numbers are 7-16-41-56-61 and the Powerball is 23. Players can check their ticket’s status on the New York Lottery website.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters.

The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
