A big winning Powerball lottery ticket is sold out recently in Michigan
Someone in Michigan won $1 million by matching all five white ball numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.
The $1 million winning Powerball ticket for the Saturday, April 6, 2024, drawing was purchased online. That player has until Jan. 1, 2025, to claim it.
The drawing was delayed on Saturday and took place at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. This was so one of the organizers could complete required procedures before the drawing.
A player in Oregon won the $1.3 billion jackpot, ending a winless streak that lasted more than three months.
A single ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot. There were no $2 million winners.
There were three other $1 million winners including people from Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Wyoming.
