Wilmington man won $1 million in Massachusetts State Lottery

Wilmington man won $1 million in Massachusetts State Lottery, the winner will soon be $1 million times richer than before. 

He purchased his winning lottery ticket from E T D Food Mart in Tewksbury and claimed his prize on Jan. 10.

Michael Paquette of Wilmington won his $1 million  after he decided to play a scratch off ticket game $10,000,000 Cash King. 

He decided to get a one time lump sum amount instead of annuity and took home $650,000 before taxes. 

The winner plans on putting some of his winnings towards a “dream” 35th anniversary trip to Greece.
