Cash 5 lottery ticket worth almost $180,000 sold in Cabarrus County, the winner will soon be $182,073 times richer than before.
The lucky winning lottery ticket was purchased from the Han-Dee Hugo’s on North Cannon Boulevard in Kannapolis.
Cedric Bass of Kannapolis, who won the jackpot cannot believe his luck, he was so happy after his ticket matched all five white balls in the drawing to win the jackpot.
When he told his brother and sister, they were also taking it as a joke, but when he showed them the ticket they were shocked.
Bass said he wants to use some of his winnings to help out his sister, who has had some health issues.
