Wexford County Man Won a lottery prize worth $4.37 Million Lotto 47 Jackpot

A lucky Wexford County man purchased Lotto 47 tickets and won the game’s $4.37 million jackpot! The lucky 71-year-old player wants to remain anonymous

The winning numbers were: 08-23-26-31-36-40.

He bought his winning ticket at Amvets Post 110, located at 127 West Cass Street in Cadillac. A lottery official talked to the man

“I bought five Lotto 47 tickets while I was at Amvets,” said the player.

“The next day, I got a call from the worker who sold me the tickets, telling me to check mine because they had sold a jackpot winner.

I looked up the winning numbers and then looked over my ticket and sure enough, I was the big winner! I’m still in disbelief!”

The lucky player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize.

He chose to receive his prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $3 million rather than annuity payments for the full amount.

With his winnings, he plans to save for retirement.
