A lucky Wollongong Man Wins $1 Million in Monday & Wednesday Lotto Draw
A Wollongong man is eagerly counting down the days until he can escape to the sun-soaked shores of Fiji and also pay off his house mortgage after landing $1 million in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The Illawarra resident held one of the two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4368, drawn Wednesday 21 February 2024.
The New South Welshman discovered that winning a major prize can come with a few side effects, revealing the hairs on the back of his neck immediately stood up.
“Oh my god! Oh, you’re joking!” he exclaimed.
“It’s not a bogus call, is it? I couldn’t handle that!
“I’ve started to jump up and down! I can’t believe it.
“I know everyone says it, but this is life-changing!
“I’ll be able to get rid of my mortgage and go on a holiday – all the things you dream of!
“I’ve wanted to go back to Fiji. I love it there.
“I had no idea that I’d won $1 million – wow!
“Thank you so much.”
His winning marked 12-game entry was purchased at Aussie Pharmacy, Shop 1 7/204 Princes Highway, Corrimal.
