Lucky couple won $675,000 BCLC Set For Life prize

Joseph Horne of Sasnichton is now $675,000 richer after scratching a BCLC's Set For Life ticket and fall to his Knees with laughter when he realized the big win.

Horne and his wife purchased the winning ticket from Royal Oak Country Grocer and were together at home when they scratched the ticket and revealed the prize. 

"I started scratching and recalled thinking it was teasing me with all doubles," Horne explained. "I got to the sixth game, took a breath...held my breath, that's when I got three matches." Horne fall on his knees and started laughing.

After seeing this, Horne's wife, Shella Thomas asked her husband what was happening. 

Horne said there were three matches but she couldn't believe it. "I used my BCLC Lotto app to check it, heard the winning music, and ran upstairs to tell my mom while screaming 'we are set for life!" Thomas explained. 

The couple told the BCLC that he plans to purchase a lawn mower for work as well as a bigger vehicle with the windfall.

The couple aslo dream of building a lacrosse in the community.
