A lucky Co Wexford player won £1 million prize in Friday night's Daily Millions draw, as the Irish Lotto jackpot reaches the highest in Lotto history.

The life changing prize ticket was sold in a store in the seaside town of Rosslare. The lucky shopkeeper was delighted by the news.

The Quick pick winning ticket was sold on the day of the draw, on Friday September 24, at Centra on the Strand Road in Rosslare, Co Wexford.

The lottery players from that area are requested to check their tickets carefully to find out they have won the life changing prize.

Shane Murphy, the Shop owner said, "We were delighted to hear that one of our customer was the biggest winner from the weekend,"

"This is also the largest prize amount that we have ever sold so it's exciting." He added.

Meanwhile, Wednesday night's Lotto jackpot is set to £19 million, the biggest jackpot in the history of the game.
