A Western Adelaide man won big lottery prize on the weekend of his birthday

A Lightsview man feels lucky after winning $100,000 lottery prize on the weekend of his birthday. 

The Western Adelaide resident won the guaranteed 1st prize of $100,000 in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10492, drawn on September 24, 2021.

In addition to the 1st prize, the man also won a consolation prize of $1,000 boosting his total winnings to $101,000.

The anonymous winner was busy at his work and he had no idea that he won a major lottery prize when a official from the Lott contact him with the thrilling news.

"I had no absolutely no clue I'd won! I wasn't sure why you were calling." The man said in shocked. 

"Just recently I started purchasing entries in the Lucky Lotteries. The game is all fairly new to me," the man said. 

"I'm currently at work. This is such a nice surprise for a Monday morning. It's truly made my week."

The man says his partner won't believe it and it took a bit time to convince her.

"In fact, my birthday is right around the corner and just in time!"

The man says he doesn't have any concrete plans at the moment abour how he is going to spend the money. 

"For now, I'll just celebrate the win and my birthday!" The man laughed.
