One Lucky Mega Millions lottery player won $1 million worth jackpot, it was the second place prize. 

The winning lottery ticket was sold at ANR Petroleum, an Illinois gas station and car wash. 

If the winner would have purchased the Megaplier option, it would have been the $2 million win. 

The winner is not yet confirmed as nobody has came forward to claim the prize, more information will be released once the lottery ticket is claimed. 

The winner has 180 days from the day of draw to claim there lottery prize, afterwards the lottery ticket will expire and won't be claimed.
