Morris County, NJ - Excitement buzzed through the area as news broke that one lucky individual in Morris County had struck it big with a winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000.

New Jersey Lottery officials announced on Thursday that this particular ticket was one of eleven in the state to win the impressive sum in the recent Wednesday, July 19, Powerball drawing.

While the grand jackpot of $1.08 billion was claimed by a fortunate ticket holder in California, the Garden State had its fair share of winners as well. Two tickets purchased in New Jersey matched all five of the white balls drawn, earning a handsome $1 million second-tier prize.

The winning numbers for the July 19 drawing were 07, 10, 11, 13, and 24, with the Red Power Ball number being 24. To sweeten the deal further, the Power Play was 2X, increasing the value of some of the winning tickets.

The $50,000 ticket that made its way to Morris County was purchased at the BJ’s Wholesale Club #48, conveniently located at 1 Howard Blvd., in the charming town of Ledgewood.

The New Jersey Lottery offers a range of games, and Powerball is undoubtedly one of the most popular among hopeful players dreaming of life-changing sums of money.
