Indiana Resident Strikes Gold with $100,000 Powerball Win

In a stroke of luck, an Indiana resident secured a $100,000 win with a Powerball ticket.

The fortunate ticket matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball, with an additional boost from the Power Play option for Wednesday night’s draw.

The ticket was purchased at Bottles Unlimited on State St. in New Albany, adding another winning chapter to the state's lottery stories.

The drawn numbers for the Jan. 10th draw were 25-40-43-48-50, with the Powerball being 11 and a Power Play of 2X.

While the jackpot remained elusive, anticipation builds for the upcoming Powerball drawing on Saturday, Jan. 13, with an estimated jackpot of $77 million.
