A fortunate scratch off lottery player from Davidson County wins a big

A Triad man tried his luck on a $10 scratch-off and won $1 million. Dwayne Hinkle bought his Ultimate Dash ticket from the Grab and Go on West Center Street in Lexington.

After taxes, he took home $429,003. Three more $1 million prizes can be claimed in the Ultimate Dash game.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.

The winner told the lottery officials that he will be going to pay all his due bills after claiming the winning prize money.
