Woman scoop big lottery prize worth $452K

A 70-year-old woman is still processing her win after scoring a huge jackpot while getting a lottery ticket for her husband.

The woman, from Genesee County, Michigan, picked up the winning ticket at MoJoe's Food and Spirits in Davison, Michigan.

Choosing to remain anonymous, she explained that she had been asked by her husband to pick him up a lottery ticket and decided to get two for herself on a whim.

In the end, she won a staggering $452,886 (£360,000) on the Michigan Lottery's Double Win Wild Time Fast Cash game.

She bought two tickets, and while she was unlucky with the first, the second saw her winning the jackpot.

At first, she wasn't so sure she had won, so she went to her husband to ask him to look over the ticket. In the end, he realized it was a jackpot-winning ticket and had a "few choice words" before the pair celebrated with those in the store.
