Winning Powerball ticket was sold in Youngsville

One lucky winner in Oregon won the Powerball jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, but there was also a winner in Acadiana.

According to the Louisiana Lottery, a ticket sold in Youngsville matched 4 of the 5 numbers plus the Powerball number to win $50,000.

The ticket was sold at the Tobacco Stop at 1000 Youngsville Highway. That was one of two lucky winners from Louisiana from Saturday’s drawing.

A ticket bought in New Orleans also matched four numbers plus the Powerball, winning the $50,000 prize

 If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
