Winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth $3M sold at Chester County Wawa
WEST CHESTER, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $3 million was sold at a Chester County store.
The winning ticket was sold at the Wawa on the 700 block of East Gay Street in West Chester. The ticket was a $3 million Payout ticket, which is a $30 scratch-off game.
"Scratch-Offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. The Lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed," a statement from the lottery said.
The Wawa will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Lottery winners are advised to immediately sign the back of their winning ticket.
